Visualising the future of energy.

Project Overview

Ausgrid are the largest distributor of electricity on Australia’s east coast, providing power to four million Australians every day. Every five years, Ausgrid is required to submit a plan to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) detailing their proposed service delivery, costs, and prices for the upcoming regulatory period.

I worked with the Ausgrid team to develop and design eight extensive documents as a key component of their 2024–2029 Regulatory Proposal. Over a two year period, I meticulously designed hundreds of pages comprising of data visualisations, infographics, and written content.

Transforming Data into Engaging, Accessible Graphics

Interpreting complex data through visual communication was essential in this project. Tasked with transforming raw data into meaningful insights, I ensured that each visualisation adhered to Ausgrid’s stringent brand guidelines.

I developed a suite of infographics and charts to segment and clarify the content, improving accessibility and comprehension for diverse stakeholders. This resulted in a series of documents that were continuously refined with evolving data over the course of two years, and finally approved by the Australian Energy Regulator for the upcoming regulatory period.
